Molly K. Tschopp, PhD, CRC, is Associate Professor and Director of the CORE-accredited Rehabilitation Counseling program in the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling at Ball State University. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa (psychology BA and rehabilitation counseling MA) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (rehabilitation psychology PhD). Her pre-doctoral internship was completed at Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison, WI. Before coming to Ball State, Dr. Tschopp was an Associate Professor and Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Program Director at the University of Massachusetts- Boston. Dr. Tschopp is a licensed psychologist in the State of Indiana.
Dr. Tschopp’s research interests are focused on social justice and advocacy, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychosocial aspects of chronic illness and disability, and wounded veterans. Her teaching interests include foundations of rehabilitation counseling, medical and psychosocial aspects of disability, psychopathology, and practicum/internship training.
