Sports revenue

A Sport Sponsorship and Revenue minor allows students to understand the requirements to generate revenue for sports organizations actively. Whether students work in international, professional, collegiate, interscholastic, youth, non-profit, or travel sports, generating revenue from naming rights, sponsorships, media, ticket sales, and ancillary departments is essential for an organization to survive. 

Students will develop and enhance their communication ability by having meaningful conversations with clients to generate revenue throughout a sports organization.

Program Requirements

Admission requirements include:

  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA in minor courses
  • Completion of SPTA 190 – Introduction to Sport Administration with a C- or better
