The Applied Music concentration is ideal for students who want to grow as performers within a broad academic framework. Through one-on-one instruction, ensemble participation, and a curriculum grounded in music theory, history, and musicianship, you’ll refine your skills as an instrumentalist or vocalist.

This flexible program allows you to select electives in areas such as music technology, composition, and education, or pursue a minor or double major in another field across campus.
