Sarah Zvonar
Assistant Professor of Nursing
Dr. Sarah Zvonar's research interests include aspects of living with acute and chronic diseases, specifically chronic kidney disease (CKD) and cardiovascular disease (CVD). Her work explores the multifaceted psychosocial and behavioral challenges these patients face as they navigate these complex health problems. Interventions focus on changing personal systems and mental health relationships with the disease processes while outcomes focus on medication adherence, patient education, complexities of regimens, and habit strength.
