Social Work Offices Open

The Department of Social Work office will be open during regular working hours beginning July 6th.  The office will adhere to university guidelines as appropriate.  The layout of the Social Work office suite is such that there is a natural separation for people in office spaces and as a result, it should not be a problem with maintaining physical distancing.  The front entrance to the suite is typically staffed by one to two individuals, located at a distance to the front door, with mail drop off happening in a relatively isolated way. Both workers in the front office area will have a plexiglass shield installed to reduce potential for spreading of airborne virus-type infections.

Field Experience

You’ll gain a better understanding of what it means to work in our profession through the practicum field experiences we require of all students. During your last semester, you’ll work at one of dozens of field sites around Indiana, helping real clients address real issues, making a real difference.

Or if you work at an agency that might like to partner with us, please review our requirements and see how to apply to host our students.
