In our programs, you will discover more about yourself as you work to improve the quality of life for others; to understand social, economic, and environmental justice for all; and to acquire the skills and knowledge to work within a paradigm of inclusiveness. With nearly 400 students in our undergraduate major, we are the oldest accredited undergraduate social work program in the state. We also have a rapidly growing MSW program with nearly 100 students from across the globe with classes available in an in-person/online model with courses offered on the main campus as well as in Fishers, Indiana.

Our department consists of 17 full-time and multiple part-time faculty members, all of whom hold advanced social work degrees and have many years of practice experience. Read their bios.
Our alumni make up a significant portion of the social work workforce in east central Indiana and are viewed as excellent graduate school candidates in Indiana's master of social work programs, as well as graduate programs in the Midwest and across the country.
