The theatre minor is designed for students who wish to enhance their course of study in another major by exploring a wide variety of courses in theatre.

Curriculum

Ball State’s theatre minor allows you to gain hands-on experience in theatre, in and out of the classroom.

  • The theatre minor course work allows you to explore your passion. In addition to taking classes in the Department of Theatre and Dance, you will participate in the production season, building on your classroom experience.
  • The theatre minor requires 20 credits. In addition to theatre minor core courses, you will have a wide array of electives to choose from so that you can tailor the minor to your particular interests.
  • As a Ball State student, you have access to exciting immersive learning opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines and get involved in projects with real-world impact.
  • Ball State Department of Theatre and Dance is an active award-winning participant in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF).
