
Urban Planning Accelerated Master's Program (AMP)
The Urban Planning Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) is designed to provide exceptional undergraduate students with the opportunity to enroll early in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program while completing their undergraduate degree. Students admitted to the AMP will take four courses (12 credit hours) of graduate coursework, with nine of those hours counting as dual credit for both their undergraduate and graduate programs. After fulfilling their undergraduate requirements, students will continue for one additional year beyond their undergraduate degree to earn their master’s degree in urban planning.

Note: Summer admission allows AMP and Track II BUPD students to take an online graduate-level elective. The department does not offer a full slate of summer courses nor any on-campus summer courses.
