Visit the BSU Nature Lab at 11am for Tracks, Trails, & Tales, our weekly summer story time. Gather around the campfire rug to hear a different nature-themed story each week. Story time will be followed by a craft, activity, and/or a guided nature walk. All ages are welcome, but stories and activities will skew towards our younger audience members.
June30: Over and Under the Rainforest, by Kate Messner
Over and under the Rainforest is a delightful adventure following a young visitor and their guide through the tropical rainforest in Costa Rica. On their way to a family dinner, wildlife can be found everywhere, thriving in the warm and wet rainforest.
After story time, visitors are invited to join our Environmental Educator for a guided walk in the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, with a short scavenger hunt for children.
