Join guest artist Carter Johnson for a piano masterclass!
Celebrated for his warm stage presence, compelling musical personality, and provocative repertoire choices, Canadian-American pianist Carter Johnson is known for making classical music speak to all kinds of audiences. A prizewinner in several major competitions, this past year he won the silver medal in the Gina Bachauer International Competition. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Yale School of Music, studying under Prof. Wei-Yi Yang, and lives in Hamden, Connecticut with his wife and two children.
Johnson will also perform in Sursa Hall at 7:30 p.m. on March 28.

This event is free and open to the public.
Parking
Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. On weekdays, metered parking ($1/hr) is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free. This garage is free on weekends.
