Jean Crosby
President of Ball State Foundation/Alumni Association and Vice President for University Advancement
Jean Kramer Crosby is president of the Ball State University Foundation / Alumni Association and vice president for University Advancement.
In her role, Ms. Crosby provides vision, leadership, and oversight of all Foundation operations, alumni relations, and development activities that support the academic mission of the University. She also serves as the chief development officer for the campus and advises the University president and other senior-level administrative and academic leaders on all development and alumni relations matters.
As a member of the University president’s senior leadership team, she participates in strategic planning and campus collaborations to ensure alignment with and creative approaches to key academic and University priorities, initiatives, and opportunities.
A Ball State graduate and Muncie native, Ms. Crosby has risen through the ranks at the Foundation since starting work in 2011. She has served in several progressively responsible leadership roles, including interim president, chief operating officer, and vice president for Strategy, Engagement and Communications. Ms. Crosby previously served as a development officer for the Community Foundation for Muncie and Delaware County and an international training manager and fund development supervisor for Rotary International.
