People looking at students work

Connect with Your College

Alumni and friends play a critical role in encouraging students to attend Ball State. Once enrolled, volunteers continue engaging with students as mentors by speaking in classrooms, offering internships at their workplace, and giving extended professional development as Executives in Residence. Alumni Engagement

Sometimes the first step to greater involvement is to just show up. Attend an alumni networking event after work, join your local alumni chapter or alumni group, or attend a basketball game. From there, you can move on to leadership positions within the Alumni Association and serve on a university committee. Learn more.

Parent Volunteers

Parents of current students can play an important volunteer role. By Joining the Parent Advisory Council, you can help foster better communications between the university and the parents of all Ball State students. Furthermore, they can help to fundraise, offer career advice and internships, and serve as student mentors. Learn more.
