2021 BeneficenceBall State University has been selected by the Institute of International Education (IIE) to receive an IIE American Passport Project grant that will enable 25 students to obtain a U.S. passport and support their study abroad journeys. Ball State is one of 40 institutions in the United States to be selected.

Three Ball State students and alumni will study abroad for the 2013-14 academic year as recipients of Fulbright Scholarships. Ball State's Fulbright recipients are Carly Bacurin, Abby Savage and Cynthia Smith. They will spend their academic year conducting research, studying and teaching English.
