The various subsystems (water-wastewater, energy, building, and landscape) are integrated with each other and integrated into their contextual regenerative systems. Typical of the optimizing benefits of complex systems, these integrations add efficiency value to the various systems. Wastewater augments landscape production which cleans the air, increases thermal mass, dampens temperature swings, and regenerates water quality.
Since the potential of this project to teach about healthy P3 relations accrues to the projects integrated nature, it is also difficult to talk about the integrated water-wastewater-energy-building-landscape system without talking about the educational system that uses these integrations as immersive learning. In these cases the text sometimes speaks of the integrated water-wastewater-energy-building-landscape-educational system.
