Elsayed Zahran
Associate Professor of Environmental Chemistry
Dr. Elsayed Zahran's research focuses on the development of new approaches for the detection and remediation of environmental contaminants via the design of novel nanostructured materials with unique architectures that provide efficient catalytic activity. These materials demonstrate applications in degrading environmental contaminants, producing clean fuel from renewable resources, and developing analytical sensors.
He teaches in the environmental chemistry and general chemistry areas.
