About William Nunley
Will Nunley is an Assistant Lecturer and Director of Debate in the Department of Communication. He has engaged in debate work over the last ten years, including competing, coaching, and judging at tournaments around the country and abroad. Will won two Texas state championships while in high school and won a national British Parliamentary championship in undergrad. His passion for the activity extends beyond competition, having taught debate for a variety of institutions and organizations across the west coast. Will’s teaching philosophy is grounded in an ethic of care, believing that students should be offered grace throughout their educational journey.
