Dr. Mohsen Goodarzi earned his PhD in Construction Management from Michigan State University in 2021. His research focuses broadly on sustainable construction, green and high-performance buildings, residential construction and housing, climate-responsive buildings , and the economic and environmental performance of buildings throughout their life cycle. His scholarly interests include life-cycle costing and cost-benefit analysis, energy and resource efficiency, green building rating and certification systems, building performance assessment, and the long-term value of sustainable construction strategies. He also explores the application of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to construction and built-environment research, as well as innovative approaches to construction education. His work seeks to connect sustainability, building performance, economics, and emerging technologies to support more informed and resilient decision-making across the building's life cycle.
