
Effective selling is both art and science. And as with any art or science, practice, testing, and experimentation are key. At the Center for Professional Selling at Ball State, you will be equipped with the tools necessary to become a successful salesperson. Our bachelor’s degree in professional selling teaches you the professional selling process, how to build trust, how to engage in persuasive communication, how to use the latest technology to work smarter, and what to expect from a career—all taught by outstanding faculty with real-world sales expertise.
Major Requirements
Our curriculum explores the full spectrum of sales coursework, including professional selling, marketing research and analytics, seminar in advanced selling techniques, sales management, and sales technology applications.
The professional selling undergraduate major consists of at least 120 credits divided into four groups of courses: You are encouraged to complete one of many available sales and marketing internships.
