Ball State’s online MBA with a concentration in healthcare administration provides a sound foundation for advancement into management of healthcare organizations. Designed with you in mind, the curriculum was developed in close collaboration with IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital to build expertise in areas that the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) has identified as core competencies for healthcare management.
The courses you take are entirely applicable to your current healthcare career. The program is open to both students with or without a prior business degree. However, if you have a business degree, you may have an opportunity to waive three (9 credits) of the 13 (39 credits) courses to meet the degree requirements.

You will take a total of 30 credits consisting of 21 credits of core business courses and 9 credits of electives covering in-depth knowledge of healthcare administration. Elective coursework in the program may include a healthcare internship or research project for students currently employed in the field.
