Scholarships for Current Students

In order to be eligible for a Miller College of Business Scholarship or Award, an applicant must:

  • be enrolled as a full-time student at Ball State University during the terms of the award (Undergraduate and Graduate Students are eligible to apply)
  • be a Miller College of Business major
  • complete and submit the online scholarship application

Applications  for the 2022-2023 academic year scholarships have been closed.

Preference will be given to students admitted to the Miller College of Business (seniors and juniors). While there is no minimum GPA requirement for application, some scholarships have a GPA minimum. If more than one application is received for a student, only the most recent one will be considered.

Scholarships and awards are supported primarily by donations to the Ball State University Foundation. A small percentage of donors require that financial need be established for the award of the scholarship. This will require completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available online. To be considered for awards requiring financial need, you must submit your FAFSA prior to January 15. Most other awards may be made on the basis of scholastic achievement without regard to financial need. In order for the committee to get an accurate picture of your financial situation, please fill out the application fully.

Please note: All scholarships are awarded for a one-year period (two semesters), and an annual application for renewal is required; however, application does not guarantee receipt of an award.

Award recipients will be notified by the University Foundation through their Ball State email account starting in late spring.
