Lathay PeguesLathay Pegues is an Indiana University graduate, Regional Emmy Award-winning journalist, and entrepreneur from Muncie, Indiana. After working as a reporter and anchor at television stations across the Midwest, he co-founded JohnTom’s Barbecue Sauce, inspired by his grandfather’s secret family recipe. Since taking the company full-time in 2014, Pegues has expanded the brand into numerous retail stores, and JohnTom’s was named “Best Sauce in Indiana” by Indianapolis Monthly.
