Ball State students have created a musical about Brown County titled Ball State students have created a musical examining the history and people of one of Indiana's most popular tourist attractions: scenic Brown County. A reading of "If You Don't Outdie Me" will take place May 1 in the Choral Hall of the Music Instruction Building with additional readings scheduled for May 9-10 at the Brown County Playhouse.

Colin Hart is a 2014 Udall ScholarBall State junior Colin Hart is the university's first theater major to be selected as a 2014 Udall Scholar. Hart will receive a $5,000 scholarship and attend a weeklong retreat this summer in Tucson, Ariz., to network with other 2014 Udall Scholars.
