Assistant Lecturer of Fashion Industry Studies
Audrey Robbins unique background bridges retail entrepreneurship with fashion education, enabling her to connect classroom theory with real-world practice.
Robbins co-owns Walls Furniture, regularly attends professional buying markets, staying current with industry trends while bringing fresh perspectives to her teaching. Her entrepreneurial portfolio also includes Happy Cans, an EPA-certified mobile waste management service, and most recently Muncie Magazine.
Teaching interests are to create experiential, immersive learning opportunities connecting students with industry professionals.She is a recipient of the 2022 Miller College of Business Excellence in Teaching Award for NTL faculty and the 2024 Dean's Innovation Grant for her Recycled Runway immersive learning course. Robbins research interests focus on fashion merchandising, retail management, sustainable fashion practices, and experiential learning in fashion education. Research interests focus on fashion merchandising, retail management, and apparel design.
