Craig Webster
Professor of Hospitality Innovation and Leadership
Craig Webster is a Professor of Hospitality Innovation and Leadership in the Department of Applied Business Studies at Ball State University.
He has taught at Binghamton University, Ithaca College, the College of Tourism and Hotel Management in Nicosia, and the University of Nicosia.
His research interests include the political economy of tourism, service automation in service industries, public opinion analysis, and fringe events.
Dr. Webster has published in many peer-reviewed journals, including Tourism Economics, the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, Event Management, the International Journal of
Contemporary Hospitality Management, the International Journal of Tourism Research, the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, and
many others.
He is also the co-editor of four academic books and is the author or co-author of over 41 chapters in edited academic books. He is currently the Treasurer for CentralCHRIE.
