Alisa Slavens (Grady) is a STEM educator and researcher focusing on secondary science education.  She has taught both formal and informal science education in Texas.  She completed her PhD in Global STEM Education Curriculum & Instruction from Texas Tech University in 2022.  She and her family, including 4 dogs,  are looking forward to a new adventure in Indiana and at Ball State University.  Alisa's research interests are wide but currently focused on conservation and global connections education.
