If you have any questions or complaints related to Ball State University and state authorizations, we encourage you to let us know first by emailing us. We will follow up with you within two business days of your complaint.
Your complaint will be reviewed by the most appropriate people at Ball State to facilitate a resolution for your issue.
If Not Resolved
If you feel your grievance has not been resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer your complaint to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education by going to its student complaints page.
If you feel your grievance has not been resolved, a final appeal may be made to the appropriate office in the state where you reside. If you are an active military student, veteran, or family member of either of these, you should submit a complaint to the Department of Defense.
Exceptions
With the exception of reporting fraud, waste, or abuse, Ball State does not review anonymous complaints or matters that are or have been in litigation. Further, matters concerning an individual's grades are the prerogative of Ball State faculty.
Statute of Limitations
Ball State’s statute of limitations to file a complaint is two years from the time of the incident you wish to report.
