Professor Gary Crawley has been at Ball State University since 1979. He earned his Ph.D. at Michigan State University. His primary teaching areas are state and local politics, American national government, and public policy analysis. Professor Crawley's research interest focuses on state legislative politics and voting behavior and elections. Professor Crawley also served as the Director of the Bowen Institute on Political Participation from 1982-1991.
