Raymond Scheele is Professor of Political Science and Co-director of the Bowen Center for Public Affairs. Professor Scheele first came to Ball State University in 1975. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri at Columbia and his B.A. in Government from Valparaiso University. His primary teaching areas are state and local government; political parties and elections; and Indiana government. Similarly, his chief research interests focus on voting behavior, political parties, and Indiana politics. He serves as co-director of the Bowen Center for Public Affairs and has served two terms as President of the Indiana Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
