Apply to the Honors College

Save a year of college living expenses by graduating in just three years. Choose from more than 30 approved majors to earn a bachelor's degree at Ball State in three years, giving you a jump-start on your career or advanced degree. That means you'll also increase your lifetime earnings by one year's salary.

How It Works

  • Apply for admission and indicate “Degree in 3.” If you've already applied and been admitted, you can indicate your interest in Degree in 3 when you register for Orientation.
  • You must start Degree in 3 during your first semester.
  • Take a full load of classes during two or, in some cases, three summers as well as during the traditional fall and spring semesters.
  • Work with an academic advisor who will monitor your progress and help you avoid scheduling pitfalls.
  • Graduate and start your career or degree a year early.
