Events Listed As Open to the Public

The School of Art invites the public to attend a showcase of our Animation students' work from March 25 through April 10. Students will display artworks created as part of their schoolwork, representing a dynamic range concepts and styles. This is a great chance to see the exciting art being made by some of the School of Art's Animation Majors! Reception is from 4 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. All exhibitions will be in The Ned and Gloria Griner Art Gallery, just off the Atrium Food Court in the Arts & Journalism building. Free and open to the public.

Enjoy a midday break with mindfulness meditation in the DOMA galleries.

We’ll begin our afternoon on the 3rd floor, discovering fascinating insights into the art of needlepoint. Then, we’ll make our way down to the first floor to savor a delightful afternoon tea in the elegant Ball Family mansion.

Fridays: March 13, 27 at 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays: March 14, 28 at 3:30 p.m.; Travel with Jack and Annie, stars of the Magic Tree House® best-selling children’s book series, as they search for answers to a mysterious riddle and meet a helpful astronomer and astronaut. Perfect for families and groups with K through 3rd grade learners; all ages are welcome.
