The School of Art invites the public to attend The Beginnings 2026 exhibition! September 4 – October 9, view student artwork completed in the past academic year in School of Art First-Year Foundations courses. Join us for the reception and awards ceremony during BSU Family Weekend, Friday, September 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.

Step inside the colorful world of Tad Carpenter—designer, illustrator, and co-founder of the brand design studio Carpenter Collective. In this honest walk through the studio’s creative process, Tad shares how wandering the hallways of Hallmark Cards as a child sparked a lifelong love affair with playful, purposeful design. This event is free and open to the public. From 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. in AJ175.
