If you’re looking for a quiet place to live off campus that’s affordable, comfortable, and still close to Ball State, look no further. University Apartments are a great place to call home. Our two communities, Anthony and Scheidler, accommodate upper-level single students, students with families, and Ball State faculty members. These apartments are connected to the university but offer independence, a family-like atmosphere, and a safe environment. You won’t have to use a lot of gas driving as our apartments are conveniently located on the north end of campus, along Ball State shuttle and city bus routes. You’ll be near local shopping, restaurants, and popular hangouts, as well as Muncie schools.

University Apartments Standard Office Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
University Apartments visitor parking passes are available to current residents during office hours.

    Lease dates: August 12, 2024 - May 4, 2025
  • Option 2: Semester Only  
    Lease dates: Spring '25 - January 5, 2025 - May 4, 2025

Arrival and Departure Dates

The University Apartments has implemented ‘official’ arrival/move-in and departure/move-out dates.

Arrival and Check-In Dates

Residents will still be able to check-in on their chosen day Monday through Friday of the move-in week, but leases and charges will begin on the following dates: 

  • Fall: Monday, August 12, 2024 
  • Spring: Wednesday, January 2, 2025 
  • Summer: Wednesday, April 30, 2025
    (Available only to current residence hall students as availably allows)

Departure and Check-out Dates

The following dates are the implemented move-out dates for University Apartments residents:

  • End of Fall Semester: Friday, January 3, 2025
  • End of the 24-25 Academic Year: Sunday, May 4, 2025
It will be up to the discretion of the office of Housing and Residence Life and University Apartments to cancel a lease that is renewed if we find the apartment damaged or in poor condition upon checkout.
