Ms. Janise Stone is an educator, counselor, and higher education professional currently completing a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership. A licensed school counselor with more than 15 years of experience across PK-12 and higher education settings, she has served in leadership roles including Director of College and Career Guidance, School Counselor Coordinator, Director of Student Services, School Counselor, and Human Services faculty and program leadership positions.

Ms. Stone's mission is to empower students and future helping professionals through leadership, advocacy, and education. Her work focuses on fostering student success through equitable, student-centered practices that promote personal growth, critical thinking, career readiness, and meaningful engagement.

Her research explores professional empathetic practices between school administrators and teachers in K-12 public schools. Her broader interests include educational leadership, student success, college and career readiness, trauma-informed practices, and collaboration as a catalyst for positive educational outcomes.

Ms. Stone has presented topics including trauma-informed care, counselor-educator collaboration, mentoring future counselors, and student support services. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Indiana School Counseling Association and is committed to advancing educational systems that promote student growth, well-being, and lifelong success.
