Since 2003, Todd McKinney has taught a variety of classes for the English Department at Ball State University. He has also taught the Humanities Sequence for the Honors College. He has also served as the Faculty Advisor for the Writers Community since its inception in 2007. He has published work in such journals as The Cimarron Review, SmartishPace, Monkey Bicycle, among others. He also published a chapbook in 2007 entitled A Matter of Public Record.
