Andrea Powell Wolfe has advised students on nationally competitive scholarship applications since the fall of 2011. Her academic background is in American literature. She has published one book, Black Mothers and the Nation: The Narrative Positioning of the Black Maternal Body from the Civil War through the Present, as well as several articles in journals such as Journal of Modern Literature and The Southern Quarterly. She has taught courses in literature, composition, and Honors humanities.
