This concentration prepares students to teach general music and choral ensembles for grades K–12.

Ideal for students who are passionate about choral music, the program features coursework in music education and choral methods, ensemble participation, and conducting.

Graduates are prepared for fulfilling careers as choir directors and general music teachers at the elementary and secondary levels. Many also pursue graduate degrees. Nearly all students begin teaching careers immediately after graduation.
