Kayla Brant
Instructor of Special Education
As an enthusiastic adjunct faculty member in Elementary and Special Education, I have the joy of supervising future special education and elementary education majors in the beautiful Delaware/Madison County area. With a wealth of connections to Ball State—alumni, adjunct faculty, and supervisor—I’m deeply rooted in the community and committed to shaping the next generation of educators.
When I’m not inspiring students, you can find me outdoors with my two amazing kids, three bonus children, and my little Chihuahua, Scooby. Whether we’re hiking, biking, or just enjoying the sunshine, I love every moment spent with them. I also teach special education at Daleville Community Schools, where I get to make a difference every day.
In my downtime, I enjoy working out, shopping, and indulging in cozy movie nights or reality TV binges—popcorn topped with melted dark chocolate and peanut butter is my ultimate guilty pleasure! My passion lies in empowering aspiring teachers to become the best they can be for future generations.
