Tiffany Barnes
Director of Development for College of Sciences and Humanities
Tiffany’s career started in the student loan industry followed by life insurance and healthcare marketing. She made the decision to pivot to nonprofit development and fundraising after participating in a year-long philanthropy education program.
Her fundraising career began with a position in a community foundation. She also held fundraising positions with a private university and hospital foundation before joining Ball State in 2019 as the Director of Development for the College of Sciences and Humanities. Tiffany feels very fortunate to serve in this role and pay it forward for the important role Ball State has played in her life. She earned her BS in Marketing from Ball State.
Away from work, she and her husband Brandon love spending time with their kids. Tiffany is a Girl Scouts mom, and she loves sunflowers! They and are associated with positivity, happiness, and optimism. Attributes that Tiffany strives to exemplify every day.
