Katie Morey

Katie is a proud Ball State University alumna and former scholarship recipient who began her journey with the Ball State Foundation as a graduate assistant in development. Eager to expand her experience, she took on a front-line fundraising role at Arizona State University, where she spent five years honing her skills. However, her heart remained in Muncie, Indiana. She returned to the Foundation with a renewed sense of purpose, committed to making a difference in the lives of students just as others had once done for her.
“The most inspiring part of my job is hearing the passion and generosity of our donors. It’s incredibly humbling to listen to their Ball State stories and learn why they choose to give so generously to support our students,” Katie said. “I love playing a role in facilitating their giving, knowing that together, we are changing the lives of so many Ball State students today.”
Outside of work, Katie finds joy in spending time with her family and embracing the outdoors. She loves playing with her two daughters, watching soccer with her husband, Caleb, listening to audiobooks, and exploring nature whenever she can.
