Teaching Interests
Dr. Hill is an instructor of human physiology and anatomy. She is a member of the American Physiological Society, Education Section. With an educational background in physiology, health education, and sustainability, Dr. Hill currently focuses on developing and implementing physiology curriculum which emphasizes (1) issues related to sustainability/climate change and (2) issues related to student accessibility. Teaching physiology classes and labs in a manner that has minimal environmental impact, as well as sharing information about the effect of the environment on human organ systems, are of primary concern. Dr. Hill is also committed to developing student friendly teaching and evaluation methods for the physiology classroom which make knowledge accessible to all learners . In addition to teaching introductory and advanced courses in human physiology and anatomy, Dr. Hill has experience teaching courses in epidemiology, neurophysiology, health education, community and personal health, and general biology.
