John has spent multiple decades teaching a variety of subjects across the country. John has taught in the Midwest, the D.C./Baltimore area on the East Coast, and the San Francisco Bay area on the West Coast. He has taught a variety of mathematics courses including Algebra, Geometry, Finance, Trigonometry, and Calculus I & II. He has also taught courses in Philosophy, Chemistry, World Religions and Existentialism. John and his beautiful wife Amanda have two lovely daughters who keep them always on the go - wandering through the deep woods, rolling on a wagon ride, exploring another playground, driving to gymnastics, ballet, and swim classes, or dancing & spinning at Deer Creek when Phish hits the stage. In his free time, John enjoys hiking his two dogs through Mounds State Park before dawn or after dusk into the darkness with no flashlight. You might also catch him some nights at the local game shop playing Magic: The Gathering (edh).
