Jessica Curd has over 20 years of practice experience in the fields of domestic violence, mental health, hospital/ hospice, leadership, and private practice. Jessica has taught at the university level since 2007. She is a nationally certified palliative and end-of-life social worker graduate of Smith College Palliative and End-of-Life graduate certificate program. She leads on the local and national level. She is the recipient of the SWHPN Career Achievement Award and also the national HPCC APHSW-C Social Worker Certificant of the Year Award. She has presented nationally and regionally and has many research interests including trauma, grief, hospice, health disparities, disability, caregiving, autism, and disability. She founded and is a therapist for a private practice. Dr. Curd teaches in the BSW and MSW programs.
