Located in the north residential neighborhood, the Jack Beyerl Residence Hall first opened in August 2020. The hall was named in 2023 in honor of Dr. Merrill C. "Jack" Beyerl, in recognition of his 35 years of dedicated service to Ball State University and his leadership in the unprecedented expansion of the University’s residence halls.

As the home of the STEM Living-Learning Community, Beyerl Hall offers its residents access to an array of cutting-edge resources designed to support academic and creative endeavors. Among its impressive amenities are 3D printers, Glowforges, and VR headsets, enabling students to engage in advanced projects and explorations right where they live.

The hall’s strategic location offers unparalleled convenience, with close access to North Dining Hall, the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center, three other close-by residence halls, and several academic buildings.
