Bracken House is the home of the university's president and is
the location for many receptions, dinners, and other Ball State events. The
Georgian Revival style house in Muncie's historic Westwood Neighborhood was
generously donated by Alexander and Rosemary Bracken.
Namesake:
Alexander M. and Rosemary Ball Bracken. Rosemary was the daughter of Frank C. Ball, one of the university's founders. Alexander M. Bracken served on Ball State Board of Trustees from 1954 to 1980.
