Emens
Auditorium is
Ball State's premier venue for arts and entertainment events. The auditorium
seats more than 3,000 people. Since its 1964 grand opening, many world-renowned
artists, individuals, musicians, and shows have graced the Emens stage. Legendary
events have included David Letterman, Stevie Wonder, Louis Armstrong, magician
David Copperfield, comedian Adam Sandler, and the musicals Cats and Les Miserables, among
many others.
Namesake:
John R. Emens, president of Ball State from 1945 to 1968.
Year completed: 1963; renovated in 1995, 2005, new renovations to begin Summer 2016
