Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Brown has been in the field of Behavior Analysis for over 15 years. In that time, he has been an educator, presenter, and advocate for the use of behavioral solutions in multiple contexts and settings. His professional interests include impulsive decision making, Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), leadership and cultural change.
Professional Experience
Dr. Brown has worked in a variety of educational and professional settings. He gained most of his applied experience working in Intensive-Supported Living Arrangements (I-SLAs) where he wrote behavioral supports for adults living in residential programs. During this time, he specialized in providing support for severe challenging behavior. He is a former Assistant Professor at Sierra Nevada College where he taught in the Psychology Program before coming to Ball State University. Dr. Brown is now the current Graduate Program Director for the Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Program in the Department of Special Education at Ball State University.
