Dr. Nicolette Caldwell is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and has extensive clinical, teaching, and research experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education. Dr. Caldwell’s clinical and research interests include early childhood intervention, autism, parent training, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). 

 

Professional Experience

 

Dr. Caldwell received a doctorate in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She was then a postdoctoral research fellow and instructor at the University of Arkansas where she researched AAC and created a graduate level Early Childhood Special Education endorsement program. In addition to years of clinical experience focusing on young children and families, Dr. Caldwell has presented at a variety of national conferences and co-authored multiple publications on AAC and interventions for young children with autism.
