Assistant Teaching Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis
Amber Music has over 20 years of experience in the field of behavior analysis, and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for 16 years. She has provided services to individuals with autism in home, clinic, and school settings. Her clinical and research interest focuses on preventative applied behavior analysis and assent-based learning for children with autism.
Professional Experience
Amber Music was the Chief Clinical Officer for a behavioral health agency with locations in middle Tennessee and Georgia where her role was to build and oversee clinical programming, staff training and onboarding, clinical compliance, and quality care for clients across all clinic locations. Prior to this role, she was the Senior Behavior Analyst for Metro-Nashville Public School district, providing staff training and student support for special day schools. Amber also provides consultation and advocacy services for families in the middle Tennessee area. She has twelve years of experience teaching graduate students in applied behavior analysis and is an active member for the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis, Council for Exceptional Children, and International Association for Special Education.
