About Us

Ball State University’s Division of Human Resources is comprised of the offices of HR Services, Payroll and Employee Benefits, Employee Relations, and Working Well. Our offices support our campus community by providing services that foster a vibrant culture of empowerment, mutual accountability, shared values, and a sense of belonging.

Our services support the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty and staff, personal and professional development, and positive employee relations.

Departments

HR Services handles the hiring process and provides resources for new employees, professional development, and work and life events.

Payroll and Employee Benefits manages payroll and its systems, health and wellness benefits, and retirement plans.

Employee Relations is responsible for compliance and maintaining a successful workplace culture at the University.

Working Well provides services and resources to empower employees to proactively manage their health and wellbeing.
