Brad Condie is an animated film creator, director, and writer. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena. During his undergraduate studies, Condie was awarded an exclusive three-month internship in classical animation studies at Walt Disney Feature Animation in Orlando, Florida. He went on to build a professional career in the animation industry spanning more than 17 years, serving as an artist, animator, and game developer. His experience includes 2D animated films for Walt Disney Feature Animation, 3D character animation for Electronic Arts (EA), and supervisory roles in edutainment media.
Condie’s film credits include Pocahontas, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear for Walt Disney Animation. He also worked as an in-game character animator for The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to six feature films—two receiving Academy Award nominations—award-winning independent short films and video games, and educational media projects. As a filmmaker, he pursues concepts uniquely suited to the expressive possibilities of animation. His independent animated short films have been screened in juried film festivals in 32 countries.
